We here at the Million Mom Movement LOVE Halloween! Dressing up, spooky decorations, and getting creative with making food resembling ghoulish creatures are just a few ways we make this holiday fun for our families. One thing we do NOT do is indulge in those unhealthy treats that are widely eaten on Halloween. 

There are many ways to still make Halloween fun as well as healthy! We put together a few ideas to help inspire you to make this holiday one to remember.

Healthy Ghoulish Treats

Ghoulish Pumpkin Bread

Bake pumpkin bread and decorate w plant based coloring! Here is a recipe for a raw pumpkin bread that our council member Jodi Parker loves to make, “

Vegan cream cheese, organic honey or organic maple syrup. Whip it together and mix in the following to create spooky colors.

  • Red- Can’t beet this or bio fruit 
  • Orange- Carrot juice plus 
  • Green-  Spirulina or any green drink

Halloween Fun Bags

Items you can add:

  • Stickers 
  • Band aids 
  • Halloween Erasers 
  • Pencils 
  • Bouncy ball 
  • Match car 🚗 
  • Mini lego sets 
  • Mini paint set 
  • Dice 🎲
